I’ll admit the title of this blog might sound a bit pompous - a 21 year college student acting as if he is “marketing DC”. Consider it personal aspiration, at least in the short term, and one limited to the DC I am currently capable of marketing - that being primarily small businesses. There are already some great firms providing the broad range of marketing services and I won’t put any of them in this sentence, lest someone choose to think even in my self-deprecation that I was putting them in the same sentence as myself. No, I am simply a college student attempting to get my foot in the door of local businesses, in the hopes I could provide them some help and in turn they could provide me a chance to develop my portfolio. It’s not easy to break into any field these days, but my intention is to demonstrate in the next six months that I am already capable of finding and doing good work.
